The human mind functions with the tool of logic. A human being is a rational being. Being rational is equal to being logical. Of course, the span of the human being’s capacities is well beyond reason, logic, or logical reasoning. But in the absence of logic or logical reasoning, a person will be more or less an animal.
Logic, sanity, or rationality, can be defined as the ability to tell identities, similarities, and differences. This is one of the mechanisms that the mind uses to process perceptions, data, and memories, and derive problems and solutions that are related to the survival of the individual. An individual who is unable to do this well, will be seen to act, and is said to be, insane or stupid.
What do we mean when we say a person is mad? It means a person is almost wholly consumed by his or her mind, such that they cannot tell the differences between what is going on in their mind, and what is happening in real/shared life. A mad person, then, is a person who is wholly introverted.
Likewise, a person who is wholly extroverted can be said to be mad as they cannot recall or remember past incidents. A person who cannot recall their past is mad.
Therefore, the need for a person to balance their introversion and extroversion ratio.
One of the most priced powers of the human being is the ability to project self into another person, into the past, into the future, or into an event that is yet to happen. This ability is a subfunction of logic.
To live and lead effectively, a person must be able to reason out seemingly impossible variables of factors of conditions, which, fortunately, the human mind is the critical aid.
