Successful leaders, managers, and individuals always refrain from bypassing their subleaders, subordinates, or constituent members in positions below them, or teams that have been assigned definite tasks.
The only time under which a senior may assume direct responsibility for the functions and tasks assigned to a subordinated individual or team is when a condition that threatens the survival of the area where the subordinated individual or team manages is discovered to exist.
This discovery is done through the examination of the statistics and careful inspection of the areas before a formal danger condition is declared by the immediate supervising manager or leader and assigned to the subordinate.
Successful leaders, managers, and individuals will be discovered to know and utilize the steps to create success described herein.
A cornerstone and one of the most essential attributes of leadership and management is knowing 1) what one has done and 2) how well one has done it compared to earlier periods.

Imagine driving a car that does not have a speedometer, fuel gauge, temperature gauge, etc. You are driving this car on a road with diverse and often unpredictable conditions. Some parts of the road are solid and smooth, some are rough and downhill, some meander over the face of a cliffy mountain, and some have potholes and sundry obstacles. You are driving cross-country. How do you think the car and driver will fare in the long run?
Well, that is exactly how groups without a production statistical measurement framework fare – they are driven into ditches whenever the attention of the leadership shifts from the ‘road’ for even a moment; the group crashes because there is no temperature gauge to indicate how cold or hot the engine or the critical systems and factors of operating conditions are; the group runs out of energy, motivation, and essential raw materials as there is no fuel gauge…
To avoid your car (group) crashing along the Lagos-Benin highway because you do not have a speedometer to indicate that your speed is over 150 kilometers per hour, or your car (group) ceasing to function in the middle of the 3rd Mainland Bridge because the fuel has run out, it is essential to have a car (group) equipped with all the necessary indicators (production statistics measurement system) to operate the car (lead the group). This is a matter of common sense.
A statistic is “a number or amount of something compared to an earlier number or amount of the same thing“.
Statistics refer to the quantity of work done or its value in terms of money, time, etc.
Most people and organizations, especially governments, use the vogue form of ‘discipline’, which is basically bestial and savage punishments that only sadists will delight in, in failed attempts to correct errant members.
This form of ‘discipline’ has continued to cause the damaging of the mental, emotional, and physical health of people who are subjected to such forms of ‘discipline’.
The result of this form of ‘discipline’ is that the so-‘disciplined’ people, having had their humanity debased, became savages who rape, rob, murder, and cause sundry inhumane, criminal, and insane conditions in society, including corruption, incompetence, and outright betrayal of self, family, group, or society.
The reason behind this abysmal failure to bring errant members to order is that people generally lack the understanding of how to bring about the correction of wayward or aberrant conditions in themselves, in the first place.
We know that no human being is capable of attaining perfection in this physical life. This is due to the choices of life purposes we make, rather than anything else that may be wrong with the human being or the human mind. Perfect or otherwise, we know that the vast majority of people mean well and try to do the best they can based on their education, parental and societal indoctrination, and ruling factors in their environment.
What tool is available to leaders and managers to remedy bad conditions caused by errant members and correct aberrant individuals who engage in actions that are detrimental to their survival, progress, and harmony of individuals, families, groups, and society?
A primary question must be answered before we can truly answer the above question.
How do we determine that a person has gone wayward or aberrant? How and when can we say that a person’s actions can lead to a destructive or non-survival path? Plus, we need to determine this for real, for sure, without a doubt.
The only tool available that can deliver an effective answer to the above question is the knowledge and utilization of statistics to clearly see, understand, and address any non-optimal condition a person, area, or group may be in.
Without comparable statistical measurement of our production, all our efforts to determine whether or not we or someone else has offended the injunctions of a group, family, or society will be, at best, guesswork and, at worst, malicious black propaganda and witch-hunting.
To determine that a person is in the wrong or right regarding any activity within a family, group, or society, we must have a generally agreed-upon, generally known, generally understood, generally applied, generally monitored, and generally used production statistical measurement system that shows the actual performance of an individual or group.
With this tool in use, we can examine anyone’s production statistics and draw accurate and valid conclusions. Only then can we reach the factual conclusion that this individual is intentionally or unintentionally attempting to harm themselves, their family, group, or society.
By using this tool, there will be no doubt in the minds of even the aberrant individual, and the management or leadership can be certain of making and taking the right corrective action.
The use of statistics to manage a person, family, group, or societal production becomes and offers the only feasible and mutually beneficial way to administer justice to every individual to themselves, within their family, group, and the larger society.
The production statistic measurement tool is an invaluable tool to use for every promotion, award, reprimand, query, demotion, salary deduction, salary increase, termination of membership, termination of employment, investigation, arrest, sentencing, imprisonment, or any other disciplinary measure to be offered or enforced on any individual or group.
This system is a reliable bulwark that can keep the best of leaders, managers, group members, or company employees anchored to their group, family, or society.
This system ensures certainty, fairness, transparency, and above all, justice, for both the slacker-individual, manager, leader, etc., (who faces the known pre-determined corrective consequences) and the super-productive individuals, manager, leader, etc., who give their best. Everyone in such a family, productive, or citizenship environment knows that they will receive due positive or negative acknowledgment for their production without any bias or favoritism.
Therefore, the reward for effective and productive work, as well as the discipline (as developmental and correctional actions, and not the application of savage punishments that degrade the human being) of wayward or errant individuals by any leader, manager, or senior, should adhere to this utilization of production statistic measurement system.
