The Know-how to Create Success Defined

First, let us clarify the meaning of know-how. When we say know-how, we mean “the standard and invariable action steps to be followed and done to achieve or obtain a predefined outcome of a goal”.

There are know-how, or standard ways of driving, cooking, studying, parenting, leading, managing, etc. At least, there should be standard ways to do these things.

We know that there are no standard ways to parent a child into a strong, intelligent, competent, capable, good, knowledgeable, and humane adult that are generally known. Or is there?

Is there a standard way to manage a business that you know?

Do you know the standard way to lead any group to attain its vision?

The only place we know where these know-hows exist is LeadEtics®.

Let us get to the condition or state that the know-how to achieve success gives us the know-how to know, understand, master, and change.

A state or condition is the situation or circumstances (or governing factor) in which a person, group, or thing is at a particular time and place. This is the operating state or governing factor of the activity of that person, group, or thing.

For instance, whereas a newborn baby is in a particular condition or state of operation where it almost wholly depends on its mother to survive, a 30-year-old adult will be in a different state or condition of operation in comparison.

Again, a 30-year-old adult who has malaria will be in a different condition of operation compared to a healthy 30-year-old.

As another example, a brand-new car (or house, phone, computer, bridge, etc.) operates differently from a one-month-old car, much differently from a one-year-old car, and much differently from a twenty-year-old second-hand car.

One significant fact that favors the governing factors of the condition that anything may operate in lies in this example.

We know that a 20-year-old car can be in a better operating condition than a 5-year-old car if efforts, know-how, and resources are invested to keep the 20-year-old car close to its original operating condition, whereas the 5-year-old car is poorly used and maintained.

So, maintaining something or someone to keep them in their best operating condition is what the know-how of the state of existence ensures.   

A group, organization, government agency, family, or company with well-trained, smoothly mentored, and fully hatted (to know and be able to do one’s job) people will be in a different operating condition in terms of ethics, sanity, and production compared to another that has brand-new, untrained people, or another that has loads of harassed, overwork, confused, and people who are only fit for ‘discipline’ or punishment.

How well, how wealthy, how sane, how happy, how fulfilled, how well-educated, how healthy, and how focused, etc,  we are towards attaining our individual life purposes, family aspirations, group goals, national destiny, etc., depending on 1) the conditions under which these entities operate at any given time, 2) the organization, motivation, inspiration, and mentoring of the members to be able to do their jobs and deliver the deliverables assigned to them, and 3) the knowledge, good sense, know-how, and competence to master the governing factors of the conditions, and bring about incremental improvement with the formulas herein given.
