The LeadEtics® “The Great 8 Nine Virtues of Leadership – eBook
These incredible beings we refer to as The Great Eight. There is no doubt that these beings will be among the Greats of any living human being who happens on them or their works.
1. Dharma; the unknown Bharati (Indian) monk who epitomized simplicity, honesty, and understanding, and the first recorded evangelist of the truth that human beings as souls or spirits, and not bodies;
2. Lao Tzu, the founder of Taoism, originated active inaction (Wu Wei) for people to prevail over the seemingly infinite and omnipotent material universe;
3. Kong Fūzi, or Master Kong or Confucius: considered one of the first-class paragons of Chinese sages, his teachings and philosophy underpin East Asian culture and society, remaining influential across China, Asia, and the entire world to this day. His works encompass ethics, education, music, poetry, political and social philosophy; subjects that have profound influences on statecraft, politics, governance, social, and family administration.
4. Gautama Siddhanta (famously known as Buddha), who is undifferentiated from the religion (actually a system) of Buddhism, discovered and assisted people in discovering the true nature of the being (the actual person different from the body) using scientific methodology that has been lost due to the actions of people of ill-will who infiltrated the system;
5. Jesus Christ; who revealed and lived the virtues of humanity, including compassion, love, empathy, and sacrifice for all humanity, and knowledge, practical demonstration of wisdom, forgiveness, patience, and several other virtues that made him a colossus among the prophets, sages, and rabbis of his time;
6. Prophet Mohammed; who revealed and lived the scripture that was intended to reform the society of human beings to become more humane, whose work continues to be relevant today notwithstanding the nation or religious practice;
7. Lafayette Ronald Hubbard: Globally renowned modern applied philosopher, teacher, author, scientist, explorer, master marina, navigator, educator, and administrator. He brought scientific reasoning, precision, and application to philosophy with discoveries and technologies that enabled humanity to gain access to and utilize true philosophic knowledge to end the endless cycle of decadence, intolerance, insanity, and poverty that have been the lots of humanity from time immemorial. One of Mr. Hubbard’s most memorable and greatest discoveries is the truth that: “Man (the human being) is basically good”.
8. Former South African President, Nelson Mandela: Mandela can be remembered and is classed among those who exemplified the nine Virtues for his doggedness in the zero-odd battle against the inhumanity of racial supremacist of apartheid, and the evil reign of a few foreigners over the vast majority natives on their native and ancestral land. It takes something almost supernatural to accept and swallow the horrid pills of making peace with inhuman beings who trampled with inhumane viciousness, on the peoples of South Africa and Mandela himself.
These incredible beings were such striking and lightening phenomena that defy even the attribute extraordinary.
We could mention some endemic developments that were derived from the teachings and works of these greats that outlived them. These include Love your neighbor, Islamic banking, Sukuk, Wu Wei, Yin Yang, and Karma concepts which are found across the knowledge, political, economic, finance, social, and sundry aspects of existence, not only religion.
Every human being and humanity as a whole need these ‘nine leadership, sentience, and humanity virtues’, notwithstanding our racial, religious, geographic, or class distinction.
Take the book as one great wisdom transfer process LeadEtics® intends to have embodied in every one of us to make us and our societies better, safer, and more prosperous.
