How to Increase Your Company’s Revenue or Gross Income – Part 11
Welcome to LeadEtics® Consults Actionable Business Advice Series.
In our last post, we addressed Step Three/Factor Three of our Steps to Attaining Corporate Resilience which has to do with the having, utilizing, and maintenance of Organization Management Technology.
We hope you are taking the steps to put an effective organization management system in place to power your business to a higher and unassailable level.
In this post, we are addressing Steps Four (4) of how to Attain Corporate Resilience.
Steps to Attaining Corporate Resilience
Step Three, Factor Four
Having Clear, individual, and socially resonant core corporate values.
The fourth characteristic of a resilient organization is the having and utilization of clear, individually and socially relevant, and resonant core corporate values.
Do you have corporate values with which to guide your business? Great, if yes.
Are your corporate values relevant to the nature, structure, and activity of your employees, key stakeholders, host community, national socio-economy, humanity, and the survival endeavors that your business intends to accomplish?
While you may seek to drive your business via a different set of corporate values, we believe the following are vital factors that should be considered as parts of your values.
Honesty, Sincerity, Integrity, and Corporate Ethics: With these set of factors, your business will earn continuously increasing the value of goodwill, trust, admiration, protection, and defense by its stakeholders, and the publics who are unknown to the organization.
Without honesty, sincerity, integrity, and corporate ethics, a business will be seen and taken as an outcast, an untrustworthy entity, unworthy of goodwill, protection, and trust.
Competence: With Competence (which is the ability that has been forged into the fine art of getting anything created, produced, and delivered with the smoothest, surest, and seemingly simple motions) your business will become the go-to entity for the acquisition of the thing, product, or service it produces.
Conversely, the absence or inadequacy of competence assures one the certainty of being small, weak, unable, disabled, unadmired, abused, poor, unfriended, etc. Such weak organizations are derided in the immediate and the larger society in which they pretend to operate.
Capacity: There is little benefit in addressing one’s competence to small, insignificant, and unimportant goals. The Capacity factor is so significant, that without it, whatever other valuable factor one has, one will be small, insignificant, and unimportant.
Capacity speaks of a high enough magnitude of objective, goal, or vision. Capacity’s key factors are size, magnitude, distance, outward reach way into the horizon of humanity. Those visions that embrace all of life, humanity, race, and nation, are those that imbibe the core meaning and sense of the word vision.
Whilst we see the vision as larger than a goal, a goal larger than its composite objectives, and the objective larger than its constituent tasks, the factors that make them so is Capacity.
If one has an all-life or all-humanity-embracive capacity, one is on the way to becoming resilient. By this, there will be so many protective and progressive factors in favor of such a capable organization such that there will be a severe difficulty for it to be pulled down or derailed by any antagonists.
If you have not defined and written out your core corporate values – those key factors that will drive your business activities – the right time to start is now.
Let us continue to strive to thrive!
