How to Increase Your Company’s Revenue or Gross Income – Part 23

Welcome to LeadEtics® Consults Actionable Business Advice Series.

Earlier we had clarified that knowing the standard technology or know-how of the parts of the organization is key to creating and having an expanding, productive, and prosperous business.

In our last post, we discussed the second three (3) of the twenty-nine aspects of an organization that require attention and organizing from management for an organization to exist and thrive.

We have thus discussed six of the parts of an organization, which are: 1) The Organizing board or corporate structure, 2) The Personnel hat, 3) The Communication lines, 4) The Communication Center System, 5) The Basket System, and 6) Dispatch Forms.

Today we address the next three of the twenty-nine parts of an organization, as follows:

1. Routing forms
Routing forms are developed and distributed to key employees who route people (customers, visitors, suppliers, etc.) from one point in the organization to the other to process them through to their next service handling point or post.

Without routing forms, an organization cannot track the people and materials that are processed through it. Materials will be lost or found elsewhere other than where they should be. Several employees will treat the same work item at different intervals as items are sent to where they don’t belong, and confusion reigns supreme.

Routing forms give an organization control over the movements of people and materials; enable easy accounting and audit of transactions; assist employees to be focused on their jobs and raise their competence level; and generally assist the increase in the level of productivity in the organization.

2. Inspection actions
Inspection actions by which off-purpose, off-policy, and non-standard persons, actions, material, etc. are discovered and reported for remedial handling.

There are two types of organizational inspection.

The first is an informal, daily check of the areas of an executive to discover the operating conditions of the area, the employees, the equipment, tools, spaces, processes, etc. The informal inspection aims to assist the employees in the area become more effective and efficient.

The second type is the formal inspection. The formal inspection is aimed at discovering non-compliance to policies and processes, discovering of outnesses (things and people that should be there and are not, and those that are not supposed to be there and are), discovering reasons why production and employees’ ethics statistics are where they are and not better, and so on.

Notes are taken and reports are made to address any deficiencies discovered in both the informal and formal inspection.

3. Promotion actions
Promotion actions including marketing, advertising, and such actions that get the company, its brand, products, services, etc. known, demanded, and exchanged for by the specific publics of the company.

A great deal has been discussed in the first four to five weeks of this email series on the vital subject of marketing, promotion, and similar actions. The aims of these actions are to make the organization and its products or services well known, well thought of and its products or services exchanged in the right magnitude of volume and at the right price.

Conclusion

In conclusion, it is vital that you implement the parts of an organization above along with the previous six, if you desire to have an organization.

Let us continue to strive to thrive!
